LG Optimus Officially Sealed With ICS to By LG Korea FinallySEPTEMBER 24, 2012 NEWS
After several delays, so many rumors and even one formal cancellation, the Optimistic series of smartphone from LG Korea would be armed with Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The Tech giant LG Korea has officially announced that the Optimus 2X, Optimus Black along with Optimus 3D smartphones will get the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade.
“We hear you these recent weeks and would like to share with everyone that our Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) upgrade schedule is set and final details will be announced when they are ready. We are now working to fine-tune the upgrade for a better experience for all our customers. The following models will receive the ICS upgrade in due time LG Optimus 2X, LG Optimus Black and the LG Optimus 3D.”
Stated by LG Korea on their official Facebook page.
“Detailed information on the ICS OS update schedule however will be released shortly but the good news is that the upgrades will be released,”
The added.
According to Android Authority, the Ice Cream Sandwich is initially available for the Korean Optimus 2X model number SU660 only and other country specific models will get the ICS updates very soon.
