- Installation for broodROM RC4 -

1. If you have CWM installed: format all partitions. If you don't have CWM installed do a Hard Reset (*2767*3855#) Note: A hard reset also wipes your sdcard, make sure you got it backed up
Note: A format or hard reset is not always needed, you can always try to keep your data folder and flash broodROM RC5, wiping dalvik cache is still needed!
2. Put your phone in download mode (when off hold: vol -, home, power)
3. Start Odin, Choose AriesVE.ops file, check “One Package”, choose: “broodROMRC5.tar.md5” > Click Start
4. Wait till the process is complete, now your phone will reboot and show you recovery mode, now choose reboot system now by pressing the menu button
5. Set animations to a few. (settings > display > animations) For the shutdown-style old TV animation and start enjoying your new rom

Leuk een nieuwe versie!
Alleen even een vraagje.
Als ik RC4 er nou opzet, is dat dan mogelijk zonder dat ik alles weer opnieuw moet installeren en instellen?
Ik heb nu RC3.

Ja dat kan, dan moet je wel voor het flashen even rebooten in recovery en dan /cache en /system formatteren, ook bij “advanced” even dalvik-cache wipen. dan je telefoon uit zetten en in download mode zetten, als je nu de rom flasht in odin zouden al je instellingen en apps bewaard moeten blijven.

Ik zou toch voor de zekerheid even een backup maken van je huidige installatie

Ik probeer de CWM versie te installeren, maar als ik de rar uitpak krijg ik steeds een CRC-error.
Heb hem al een keer opnieuw gedownload, maar dan heb ik weer hetzelfde probleem… :-(

2. haal de batterij eruit
3. doe je telefoon uit
4. haal de usb kabel eruit
5. doe de batterij in je telefoon
6. zet je telefoon aan in download mode
7. herstart Odin
8. doe de usb kabel erin en flash opnieuw
